An honesty moment: I’m really upset with how this one turned out. That’s partly down to the fact that I’m exhausted, and I was really excited for how this one might look. But I made some ridiculous mistakes in the colouring, and to me, it just looks very dull and grey. I’m going to redraw and recolour it next week. But I also didn’t want to pretend that my work is always perfect, or that I love every piece I produce. I know I’ll be able to look at this as a learning moment when my head is a bit clearer, but I’m kind of cringing at pressing ‘post’ right now. Not everything turns out right first time. And we (I) need to learn to be okay with that.
Tomorrow’s prompt: Wrapping Presents
